feeling better + for japan with love
I came down with a cold this past week so please excuse my absence. It was awful, one of the worse I've had but so glad I'm on my way to recovery. On to bigger issues...it's been over a week since the tragic Japan earthquake/tsunami incidence but seeing images is still very shocking and hard to take in. I have found it pretty hard to find/blog about pretty things when it seem rather insignificant. But I found that it's ok to have a time of silence so self-reflect on the things we do have; a home, family and love.

japan, my thoughts and prayers goes out to you
It seems so frivolous to be blogging after seeing what is happening in Japan. The images are just horrific, can you imagine being in a situation like that? My thoughts are with those in Japan and may this be a reminder for us to hold our loved ones a little closer.

my sweet and saucy
Is this not the most loveliest cake ever...As you know, I'm a big fan of flowers, big flowers. They look twice as nice on a cake. Head over to The Sweet and Saucy Shop to view their full gallery, caution: mouth may drool. The first pretty much sums up the prefect looking cake for me. Pretty pastels, check, big flowers, BIG check, multi-tiered, check! Totally gorgeous.
