ANZ center

I've never really been drawn to corporate interiors due to their lack of intimacy. It always felt cold, too comtempoary, streamlined and somewhat boring and uninspirating to be in. With that said, I have to say that I was once again proven wrong when I saw this space. It's the ANZ Center located in Melbourne, Australia and it was designed by Hassell. I was instantly capitaved by the elevation of the different level. It looked so complex yet so orderly. Notice the changes in colors/materials/ceilings on each level, almost like color blocking. I just love it, it creates a lot of visual interest. It also creates separation and the colors makes for an inviting space that does feel intimate to me. This certainly make me rethink the whole corporate office work environment.
