I was at Barnes and Noble the other day when I stumbled upon The Perfectly Imperfect Home: How to Decorate and Live Well by Deborah Needleman. The cute cover illustration caught my eyes and to my surprise, the entire book is chalk full of these beautiful watercolor done by the talented Virginia Johnson. Needleman offer great tips on how to embrace ones home and really making it be a space you want to live in. Here's a great interview I of Deborah and Holly Becker of Decor8.

meg ryan movies

I don't know what it is about the holidays that makes me want to watch Meg Ryan movies. Sometimes I'm not even watching it but I like having it play in the background when I'm working and such. The plot lines are never that complicated or at least the movies shown below. I've always liked the adorable Meg Ryan and her movies always puts me in a good mood. And sometimes, that's all I want from a movie.

happy friday + crazy wind

Happy Friday Everyone,

Oh how I missed you and the internet...due to the crazy wind I was w/o power and internet since Wednesday night :(. Things I learned is that there's pretty much nothing to do without eletricity other than sit in the dark and stare at the wall, or in my case stare at the person in the same room with you and talk about how we probably wouldn't have survived the stone age. I made the mistake of leaving the house Thursday only to be faced with ridiculous traffic and massive amounts of trees scattered all over the streets, I even saw the collapsed Shell gas station. Crazy stuff.
